Coaching FAQs
Coaching is forward-focused. It’s about equipping you with tools, strategies, and support to grow—whether individually or as a couple. Therapy, on the other hand, often focuses on diagnosing and healing past trauma or mental health conditions. Coaching is not a substitute for mental health treatment, but it can work alongside it if you're ready to take steps toward growth.
Not at all. Many couples and individuals come to coaching before things get worse. Some want a tune-up, others are preparing for marriage, and some just feel “stuck” in patterns they want to break. Coaching is for anyone ready to grow with intention.
But if divorce or other big challenges are looming large, it's not too late if you're willing to put in the work.
Short answer: that depends on you.
We always begin from a faith-neutral, values-centered approach. We deeply respect your spiritual tradition and worldview (and bring our own to our work), and coaching sessions are customized to your comfort and worldview. And so, whether you're religious, spiritual-but-not-religious, or non-religious, you are welcome here.
Yes. Individual coaching can be incredibly effective, even if only one partner is engaged. Positive change in one part of a relationship often influences the whole dynamic. We also provide guidance on how to invite your partner into the process when the time is right.
There is no one-size-fits-all answer. Some clients benefit in as few as 2-3 sessions, while others continue longer for deeper growth. After your initial consultation, we’ll recommend a starting plan and regularly revisit your goals to make sure you’re getting value from each session.
Short answer: Yes. All coaching sessions are confidential within ethical and legal limits. Your privacy is deeply respected, and your story will never be shared without your explicit permission.
That’s exactly why we offer a free 15-minute consultation. There’s no pressure. This is simply a conversation. You’ll have a chance to ask questions, share what you’re going through, and see if coaching feels like the right fit for you.
